Walking Home for Christmas 2016
The Shard team were out in force during December, all walking how for Christmas in aid of Walking With the Wounded. 20 participants donned their walking boots, along with Walking With the Wounded Santa hats on 12th December for a seven mile route that took them through the City, along the river to Battersea Park and finally down to Clapham. Accounting for a few pit stops along the way, the team completed the journey in four hours.
This is Shard’s second year supporting the charity and partaking in their winter campaign. This time around the challenge was more successful than ever, with hundreds of participants getting involved across the country, throughout December.
